Here are a few shots of the coffered ceiling and columns that I mentioned in a previous post...
The job went well and the customer was very pleased.
We tend to concentrate on the high-end residential market and so this initial foray into commercial work was a learning experience.
A few things to consider should you choose to pursue this type of work include:
-
The contract: will the customer sign your contract or will you be asked to accept their purchase order?
-
The payment terms: will there be a deposit, how long will you wait to get paid, what is your risk?
-
Access and egress.
-
Labor Union concerns.
Ultimately I believe that in this volatile economy, this type of work may help to keep you in business.
