Power Tools - DEWALT® Introduces a New 12 Volt MAX* Lithium Ion LED Work Light Built for Versatility and Productivity on the Jobsite
TOWSON, Md. (June 24, 2010) – D
EWALT announces the launch of a 12 Volt MAX* Lithium Ion LED Work Light (
DCL510) as part of its new 12 Volt MAX* cordless platform. With a 130-Lumen LED light and a head that rotates 360-degrees and pivots, the DCL510 provides bright illumination to maximize visibility and accuracy on the jobsite.
“We’ve seen the numerous ways contractors light their work spaces on jobsites, whether it be holding a flashlight in their mouth, duct taping it to a hard hat or having a fellow contractor hold the light in place.” said Jason McNeil, Product Manager, D
EWALT. “With features like a heavy-duty magnet, belt clip and 360-degree pivoting and rotating head, our new work light offers the versatility contractors need to ensure they are as productive and accurate on the job.”
In addition to a belt clip and magnet, the LED work light features a kickstand for extra versatility. The belt clip, kickstand and magnet allow the light to stand on multiple surfaces, cling to electrical boxes or steal studs and clip to belts, pouches or pockets. The light’s head rotates and pivots to provide bright illumination in any orientation.
The work light incorporates D
EWALT-designed electronics that are built in the switches of all 12 Volt MAX* tools, instruments and lights. These electronics provide maximum life for the tools and batteries by protecting them from overheating, overloading and deep discharge during use.
The new LED work light will be available in the fourth quarter at home centers and industrial distributors. The work light is expected to retail for approximately $39.00 (tool only).
The product will come with a three-year limited warranty, one year free service contract and 90-day money-back guarantee.
