I too have had air leakage problems that can only be explained by cheap quality parts. Don't think I'll even spend the money on repairs just to get more junk. I bought this on brand name alone but I've had better results with $100 throw aways and think I'll go back to using those!
Great Compressor for about 3 months. Was repaired by the DeWalt service center on 4 separate occasions. Last time was too costly, made in China junk, Told by service center that new pancake compressor much better quality, DONT BUY THIS ONE!!!!!
I'm a hardwood flooring contractor. I've owned this compressor for almost 4 years. Never had a problem with it. Use it for running shoe molding mostly but have even used it to run a flooring nailer in a pinch when larger compressor broke in middle of day. Other review said compressor started leaking. This thing has bounced around in the back of my truck for several years and everything on it is still original (fittings, gauges, etc.) with NO leaks. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. My only guess is other guy got a defective unit. If you need a compressor for small jobs this is it.
After the third use the regulator started leaking. By the fourth use, it was junk, couldn't keep any pressure in the tank it just leaked through the regulator. Whick is on piece of cast for the relief, gauges and air chuck
