This is my third Dewalt Hammerdrill. The chuck on my previous ones were great. This chuck has caused me to lose several bits inside of walls. It loosens and the bit falls out. I wish I had kept a chuck off one of my old drills.
Battery life amazing, good weight, ergonomics could be a little better but it's good, the power is amazing. I use my hammer drill all day long hanging conduit and other stuff and I only charge once a day. Whatever you do if you want a cordless hammer don't hesitate BUY DEWALT
Great Saw the owners manual is a bit disappointing

The few disappointments haven't changed my opinion of Dewalt Yet there were a few missing parts not the first time but Dewalt has always made it right! for safety reasons they should have included bolts to secure the saw to the stand!!! there is a plastic wingnut on the side that holds the extra blades and guard that has a unknown use it is not in the guide or Dewalts website anywhere! the anti kickback was hidden on the saw body I had to figure out how it came off! the miter angle was out of adjustment way out all the little things I found wrong made me go over every nut and bolt to make sure they were installed and tightened correctly! for a tool of this type Quality control should be impeccable!!! also the clamp on one side of the rip fence was not put together correctly it wont lock down to the rail!!!! so the saw is unusable to me until I get the replacement parts!!! Dewalt I hope this is not a sign of your future in tool making you were #1 for me for years but your QC is slipping I hope I don't have to start looking at another brand! this is unacceptable!!! I would have taken it back to Lowes for a exchange but it was on clearance and the last one in stock in a 100 mile radius of my home, I had plans to start other work remodeling my home this weekend and building new door frames for my RV before it gets to cold so I can finish winterizing it and getting the cover on it. all I ask is who ever is in charge of overseeing the final product can find a better way to make sure your power tools are built correctly this is not the first time this year I got a bad tool!!! I understand mistakes are made but it's becoming a issue, I do your surveys and you have a lot of great ideas you are thinking of releasing but they are worthless if not made right!!! I also test prototypes for other companies that make sure there products are 110% a few I have stopped because they seemed to stop caring putting there products on the shelf with unaddressed issues that were reported by a team of testers making the consumer continue the Beta testing I do not know how Dewalt pre tests there tools in the real world prior to putting them on the shelves? I have not seen any way to join group for testing Dewalt products, I am on a list for over 100 companies in the USA, I am not asking to be added to Dewalt if you have one just making a point I have 4 products I am testing now and one coming next week, so far your 20v tools have amazed me except for the grinder it needs a 6AH or better battery to be useful the 3AH and 4AH 20v batteries die way to fast runtimes at best 20-30 minutes. so please don't let Dewalt become just another tool maker!!!!!
Cons: Manual, Lack of instructions, unknown attachment points
I install gutters year long and I purchased this because it seemed like the 14.4 hammerdrillI I had been using would only last a year then something would go wrong. I screw in alot of screws and a decent amount of masonary drilling so I thought I would go with the best dewalt had. Overall the drill is great lots of power easy to use chuck longer battery run time. Except I had a battery go bad 2 months after purchase and then 4 months the drill started slipping in drive. Its sitting in the repair center for about 3 weeks now they are waiting on parts. Either I got a lemon or this drill isnt so top of the line, time will tell
