This is my go to tool for driving screws and bolts. I also own the DCF886, but I just can't get enough of the one finger bit release this impact has. Also the 3 speed switch is pretty interesting. It is pretty much a selectable max voltage regulator. In other words it controls the max speed via voltage to the motor. It doesn't have a selectable gearbox like most people are use to.
My first experience with this tool was putting up commercial shelving using lag bolts above an 8ft height. Normally, you'd want as much level pressure as possible, but with the 895, I could screw overhead with little chance of over torquing or stripping screw heads.
