DEWALT Announces the winner of the 2004 Pro Tool Box Challenge. Walt Close of Raliegh, North Carolina posted the fastest time at the final event and was the winner of a 6'x12' PACE Box Trailer and a DEWALT Tool Package worth $2000.

The Pro Tool Box Challenge consisted of 26 Preliminary Events held in the Southeast Region of the U.S. in conjunction with Home Depot. Of the preliminary events the top 12 times driving 1-5/8" Drywall Screws moved on the finals. Those 12 individuals competed head to head at the challenge finals until Walt Close won the best 2 out of 3 during the final round. In the end, Walt Close was crowned the Pro Tool Box Challenge Champion by posting the fastest valid time using a DEWALT cordless drill to drive (5) 1-5/8" Drywall Screws.
