My father and I have a small ornamental iron shop in southeast Kansas. We install a lot of custom hand railing and most of the time the railng has to be made to fit. Not all things in the real world are level & square so we are often design rails that are cut to fit on the job site. This 18V cordless cut-off tool is a real time saver.

In the field, we cut a lot of 1" 16ga tubing without causing much harm to the finish so the whole job goes faster and comes out a whole lot better. In addition, not all houses have outside plug-ins so we used to have to make arrangements with customers to make sure they were home so we could get to the power.

Cordless tools allow us to work efficiently. We purchased this tool along with a 5 tool cordless combo kit. We have been using cordless tools for about 10 years and there is sure a lot of dust on the other brands in the shop.
