DEWALT engineered the DC232KL with a 36V battery, providing professional contractors with the freedom of a lightweight, cordless rotary hammer. The 36V hammer offers the same amount of impact energy as the industry’s leading corded rotary hammers, while maintaining a similar weight to corded and 18V rotary hammers. The DC232KL has been designed to give the user maximum run-time, performance and comfort.

Engineered to give professional users a more comfortable drilling experience, the DC232KL is built with a patent-pending SHOCKS Active Vibration Control ä system. The SHOCKS Active Vibration Control ä is a system of shock absorbers located between the handle and the hammer. This feature reduces the amount of vibration felt by users, increasing comfort and giving the hammer the lowest amount of vibration in its class.

Additionally, the DC232KL features a compact L-shape design, allowing access in tight spaces while providing optimal balance to the user. For added comfort and control the hammer features an anti-slip comfort grip. The DC232KL offers professional contractors 1.9 ft-lbs of impact energy, which rivals that of any corded SDS hammer.

Available in the first half of 2006, the DC232KL offers 1" capacity in concrete and an optimal drilling range of ¼" – 5/8" in concrete. The DC232KL is ideal for professional concrete contractors, electricians, mechanical contractors, window glazers, remodelers and general contractors.
