August 2006 – DEWALT, a leading manufacturer of industrial power tools, announced the introduction of its 9.6V cordless drill/driver (DC750KA). This new compact drill/driver features more power, a rubber grip and a single sleeve ratcheting chuck providing the user with increased performance and versatility. The compact size also allows end users to access tight spaces. Designed for electricians, trim carpenters, woodworkers, HVAC professionals and installers, the DC750KA is ideal for drilling and fastening on multiple jobs.
DEWALT built the DC750KA with an upgraded single sleeve ratcheting chuck to help prevent bits from slipping. A 15 position clutch and a dual speed range of (0-300 rpm/0-1,100 rpm) provide end users with increased versatility.
The DC750KA is also designed with an anti-slip rubber grip, providing users with both comfort and control. The compact size and lightweight design create an ergonomic balance that allows users to access hard-to-reach work areas. DEWALT built the cordless drill/driver small enough to use on a variety of projects, but tough enough to withstand harsh conditions on the job site.
