August 2007 – DEWALT, a leading manufacturer of industrial power tools, announced the launch of 28V tool system with NANO™ Technology. The eight-tools are powered by NANO™ Technology, a proprietary technology that drives the premium line of DEWALT cordless tools. Available in Fall 2007, this line will include the 28V heavy-duty hammerdrill (DC910), reciprocating saw (DC315), 6-1/2” circular saw (DC310), impact wrench (DC810), rotary hammer (DC228), cut-off tool (DC413), jigsaw (DC318), and flashlight (DC519). The 28V system with NANO™ Technology provides a new line of cordless tools to help professional contractors complete a wide-range of heavy-duty jobsite applications.
