August 2007 – DEWALT, a leading manufacturer of industrial power tools, announced the launch of its heavy-duty 28V 6 ˝” circular saw (DC310K) with NANO™ Technology. NANO™ Technology is a proprietary technology from DEWALT that combines maximum life, weight and performance in an ideal ergonomic package, helping to meet the needs of professional contractors. Available in October 2007, the 28V circular saw with NANO™ Technology provides end users with increased levels of power and run-time to complete heavy-duty jobsite applications.

The DEWALT 28V circular saw with NANO™ Technology features exclusive batteries that are designed with unique NANO™ Phosphate Lithium Ion cells that provide users with increased battery durability and cycle life, offering 2,000 recharges*. Additionally, independent third-party testing evaluated the run-time of the DC310K against other cordless circular saws and found that the DC310K made an average of 100 cross cuts of 2”x10” material - almost two times the amount of an industry leading 18V circular saw**.

The DC310K is designed with a DEWALT-built high power, high efficiency motor with an electric brake, which gives the saw enough power and control to complete tough jobsite applications. A full-sized carbide tipped 6 ˝” blade is included with the DC310K.

Weighing 8.4 lbs, the DC310K is designed with a 0° to 50° bevel capacity, enabling users to make aggressive bevel cuts on 2x material. For increased durability and long-term cut accuracy, the 28V circular saw is equipped with a high-strength magnesium shoe and upper guard. An anti-slip comfort grip provides better handling and control.

The DC310K is ideal for trim carpenters, electricians, plumbers and HVAC professionals, as well as for remodeling and framing jobs.
