September 2003 - DEWALT has introduced a versatile new cordless right angle drill powered by the company's 18-volt battery system.
The new DW960K-2 measures just 4-1/2 inches long and is designed for electricians, cabinet installers, HVAC installers, plumbers, general contractors, and other technicians who want an 18-volt drill for tight spaces.
With two variable speed settings for a wider range of applications, the DW960K-2 drill produces 0-500 and 0-1,500 rpm. Maximum torque is 310 inch/lbs.
The multi-grip trigger allows for easier trigger access in tight spaces while the 3/8-inch keyless ratcheting chuck provides extra bit grip.
Sealed ball bearings in the right-angle motor add durability for longer tool life.
The DW960K-2 weights just 4.7 lbs. and comes with two 18-volt XR PACK® battery packs, one-hour battery charger and a heavy-duty kit box.
DEWALT is currently the only company to offer a cordless right angle drill in four different voltages, which makes it easier for tool-users to maintain the voltage system they already have.
