Expands DEWALT Work Gear Product Offerings --
October 2008 – DEWALT, a leading manufacturer of industrial power tools, launches a comprehensive line of work gear for professional contractors, including more than 40 products such as heavy-duty tool belts, kneepads, soft-side tool carriers, tool holders and accessories. DEWALT has entered into a licensing partnership with Custom LeatherCraft (CLC), the leading manufacturer of tool holders, organizers and other work gear accessories, to develop this line of work gear that will be available in January 2009. The new line is built with heavy-duty materials for improved durability on the jobsite and innovative features for increased comfort and convenience.
The work belts are equipped with patented pouch handles that allow for simple belt adjustments, easy one-hand carrying and convenient on-hook storage. The belts are also designed with patented double-gusset front pockets for easy access to smaller items such as nails, parts, small tools and accessories. Additionally, a double-tongue roller buckle improves stabilization and helps to prevent the belt from shifting during activity.
Designed with extra-large interior compartments, the new tool bags provide users with increased carrying capacity and allow for easy access to parts, fasteners and tools. For increased user comfort, the bags have an adjustable, non-slip padded shoulder strap and a padded bar handle.
Featured in select suspender and belt styles, a padded Dri-Lex® fabric keeps heat and moisture away from the body, helping contactors to stay cool and dry. For increased comfort throughout the day, various styles of knee pads are designed with a layered gel technology and thick foam padding that surrounds the knee. Additionally, select knee pads include a neoprene inner fabric for added comfort and a durable ballistic poly outer fabric for improved durability.
