The DW625: impressive and unique rack-and-pinion depth adjustment

February 2000

The DEWALT DW625 impresses the author of this article with its unique rack-and-pinion depth adjustment system, which is "the most accurate of the tools" examined.

Like all DEWALT plunge routers, the 625 features a smooth plunge action. It also features a cast-aluminum plunge lock lever, variable speed control and advanced ergonomics that keep it compact for maneuvering in close quarters.
