Product Review
DEWALT's DW670 Laminate Trimmer is advanced, and easy to use.

By Fine Woodworking
July/August 1998

The DEWALT DW670 Heavy-Duty Laminate Trimmer has precise height-adjustment screws and 24-tpi rods. Combined with a 1-3/8" collet depth, the 670 is ideal for making small to medium-sized cuts in a variety of woods.

Among laminate trimmers, the DW670 is heralded as having the most advanced design. Its base is easily removed by simply turning a lever, while its shape is very comfortable for one-handed operation. Finally, the 670's spindle-locking button makes bit changing a one-wrench operation.
