The Driver's Thoughts on Michigan International Speedway "I like Michigan. It compares to Vegas...." (June 2002)
"I like Michigan because it's a fast race track. Speed is really important as is good handling. Also, Michigan is the closest track besides Milwaukee to my home in Wisconsin. We will have some family at the
race as well."
"Well, Michigan is really the home of Roush Industries. The truck series shops are in Livonia. Our motors are built there too. There will be a lot of Roush guests so its always nice to have a good showing in the race." (June 2001)
-- Matt Kenseth, Driver
The Spotter's Thoughts on Michigan International Speedway "Michigan is a relatively easy track to spot because there is a lot of room and you can forecast where the cars will wind up during a wreck."
-- Mike Calinoff, Spotter (Aug. 2001)
