The Driver's Thoughts on New Hampshire Motor Speedway "At a flat track like New Hampshire, your car has to turn well in the center of the corner. If your car pushes at all you can't run really fast. Basically at flat tracks you have to have a car that handles perfect.... I think the key to success at Loudon is when you are coming off of the backstretch you can reach speeds of about 150 mph. Because of the speeds off of the straight-aways, you have to have a good handling car otherwise you will end up against the wall." (July 2002)
"I really don't like flat tracks mainly because they don't favor stock cars and its really hard to pass on these tracks. I prefer the tracks with some banking so you can race side by side." (November, 2001)
--Matt Kenseth, Driver
The Spotter's Thoughts on New Hampshire Motor Speedway "My view at Loudon is great--there is not a single blind spot on the track." (September 2002)
"Loudon is another one of the tracks where the spotters have a great vantage point. Since there are no motor homes in the infield, my view of the bottom of the turns is great. (November 2001)
--Mike Calinoff, Spotter
