The Driver's Thoughts on Dover International Speedway "I really like the size of the track and the banking. You can run fast at Dover, and if I had to choose a favorite track Dover would be one of them. I don't mind racing on the concrete at Dover. Actually, if the track were asphalt the racing would be even better. There would be more side-by-side racing and it would be much easier to pass."
-- Matt Kenseth, Driver (September 2002)
The Crew Chief's Thoughts on Dover International Speedway "[June of 2000] we finished 2nd in this race at Dover. We could have won the thing but Tony [Stewart] had a real good car.... with it being so close to DEWALT's headquarters (Baltimore) we hope for a good showing. Races at Dover are usually filled with cautions for wrecks, but we are also ready for long green flag runs.... Like I always tell the team 'no mistake racing' – that's what it's all about."
-- Robbie Reiser, Crew Chief (June 2001)
The Spotter's Thoughts on Dover International Speedway "I always call Dover 'Matt's track'. It is where he ran his first Winston Cup race and really impressed everyone. He gets around there with such skill that it makes him appear as if he's driving on rails." (September 2001)
"Dover is an awesome place to spot. Because it is considered a 'self-cleaning' track meaning, when cars wreck they always end up at the bottom of the banking, it makes my job a bit easier. It's also a fun place to spot since Matt enjoys it so much." (September 2002)
-- Mike Calinoff, Spotter
