RULES AND REGULATIONS

This DEWALT 2002 PBR/Generator Sweepstakes
(the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by the DEWALT Industrial Tool Co.
("DEWALT"). There will be three separate contests on DEWALT.com with
the same prize. The first Sweepstakes begins on December 28th, 2001
EST and ends at noon on April 5th, 2002 EST. (the "Sweepstakes
Period"). The second sweepstakes period runs from April 5th
12:01 EST and concludes on June 28th, 2002 at 12 noon EST. The third
sweepstakes period runs from June 28th, 2002 at 12:01 EST and
concludes October 28th, 2002 at 12 noon EST.

2. How To Enter
In order to enter, each participant must completely fill out the information
required on the Entry Form (the "Entry Form") accessed at www.DEWALT.com/pbr
(the "Website"). The information requested marked "optional"
on the Entry Form may be answered at the participants’ discretion.
DEWALT reserves the right to verify
that the Winner is qualified and entitled to receive the prize. The Winner will
be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity
Release or his prize will be forfeited. Acceptance of the prize constitutes
permission (except where prohibited by law) to use Winner’s name, likeness,
biographical information, photographs and any statements or remarks made about
winning the prize or participating in the Sweepstakes for advertising and promotional
purpose without additional compensation.
3. Drawing
The random prize drawing will be held at DEWALT headquarters in Towson,
Maryland on April 5th 2002 at noon EST, June 28th, 2002
noon EST, and October 28th, 2002 noon EST. A DEWALT representative
will be present to conduct the drawing. Participants need not be present to
win. Winners will be notified either by phone or by e‑mail within seven
(7) days of the drawing. All qualified entries will be placed in the random
drawing. The first entry drawn will be the Winner. Odds of winning the prize
depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4. Prize
The Winners will receive a DEWALT DG6000 Generator (approximate retail value
of $1,999.00). Winner should allow 4 to 6 weeks from notification for delivery
of the prize. The prize is non-transferable. DEWALT reserves the right to substitute
the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
5. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the USA, 21 years or older.
Employees of DEWALT its affiliates, manufacturers, sales reps, subsidiaries
or parent companies, advertising/sales promotion agencies, judging organization
and the immediate families of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
Entry materials become the property of DEWALT and will not be acknowledged or
returned. DEWALT is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected or
illegible Entry Forms, computer or software failures or unsuccessful attempts
to notify the winners. Limit of one (1) entry and prize per household or family
per day. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted the online Entry
Form, the Entry Form will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder
of the email account.
6. Conditions
All Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. DEWALT is not responsible
for any expenses incurred by participants in connection with participation in
the Sweepstakes. By submitting an Entry Form, each participant agrees to be
bound by these Sweepstakes rules, and the decisions of DEWALT are final. Each
participant agrees to release and hold DEWALT, its employees, officers, directors,
shareholders, agents, representatives and its subsidiaries, parent companies
or other affiliated companies harmless from any and all damages, losses, claims
and/or liabilities arising out of his participation in the Sweepstakes or resulting
from accepting or claiming of any prize awarded hereunder. DEWALT reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, suspend or otherwise cancel the
Sweepstakes at any time if a computer virus, bug or other technical problem
interferes with the administration, security of or entry into the Sweepstakes.
The Sweepstakes may be terminated at DEWALT’s sole discretion.
7. Use Of Information And Privacy
Policy
The information obtained in the Entry Form from each participant in this
Sweepstakes will be used for the purposes of providing DEWALT with valuable
market research regarding the uses of DEWALT's Official Website and products
and suggestions of ways to improve DEWALT's Official Website and products. All feedback
is important to promote DEWALT 's commitment to satisfying its customers and
educating the general public. Each Participant agrees that DEWALT may use the
information gathered about him in connection with this Sweepstakes in its "permission
marketing" email campaign to the extent that they have opted to participate
in any of the email campaigns offered by DEWALT. Each Participant agrees that
all of their opinions, ideas, suggestions and other feedback provided in the
Entry Form related to DEWALT 's Official Website may be used by DEWALT, its
subsidiaries, parent companies or affiliated companies in their businesses,
without any restriction and free of charge by DEWALT. All information will
be used in accordance with the stated Privacy Policy on the Website.
8. Winner
