DEWALT POWER PLAY SWEEPSTAKES RULES AND REGULATIONS

This DEWALT Power Play Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by the DEWALT Industrial Tool Co. ("DEWALT"). The Sweepstakes begins on July 15th, 2002 and ends on October 15, 2002 (the "Sweepstakes Period").

2. How To Enter
   In order to enter, each participant must completely fill out the information required on the Entry Form (the "Entry Form") accessed at www.dewaltpowerplay.com (the "Website") or available at Home Depot retail locations. The information requested marked "optional" on the Entry Form may be answered at the participants’ discretion. DEWALT reserves the right to verify that each Winner is qualified and entitled to receive a prize. Each Winner will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release or his prize will be forfeited. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use Winner’s name, likeness, biographical information, photographs and any statements or remarks made about winning the prize or participating in the Sweepstakes for advertising and promotional purpose without additional compensation.
   
3. Drawing
   Seven (7) random prize drawings will be held at DEWALT headquarters in Towson, Maryland on or about November 1, 2002. One random prize drawing (individually, a "Regional Drawing") will be held for each Home Depot United States region (individually, a "Region"). For a list of the states included in each Region, please send a self addressed stamped envelope to DEWALT Power Play Sweepstakes Region List, 701 E. Joppa Road, Towson, Maryland 21286, mail stop #TW431. A DEWALT representative will be present to conduct each Regional Drawing. Participants need not be present to win. Winners will be notified either by phone or by mail within seven (7) days of the drawing. All qualified entries will be placed in the Regional Drawing for the Region in which they reside (based upon the participant’s address as indicated on the Entry Form). Participants will not be entered into a Regional Drawing for any Region in which they do not reside. The first entry drawn for each Regional Drawing will be the Winner for that Region. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for that Region.
   
4. Prize Each Region Winner will receive his choice of one of the following prizes:
   • a Bombardier Traxter ATV (approximate retail value $6,800), or
   • a DEWALT tool prize package of the Winner’s choice (retail value of the prize package shall not exceed $3,000).
   The total approximate retail value of the prize for each Regional Drawing will not exceed $6,800. Winners should allow 4 to 6 weeks from notification for delivery of the prize. Delivery of the Bombardier Traxter™ ATV will take place at an authorized Bombardier dealer of Bombardier’s choice. The prizes are non-transferable. DEWALT reserves the right to substitute any prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
   
5. Eligibility
   The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the USA, 18 years or older. Employees of DEWALT, Home Depot, Bombardier, their affiliates, manufacturers, sales reps, subsidiaries or parent companies, advertising/sales promotion agencies, judging organization and the immediate families of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited. Entry materials become the property of DEWALT and will not be acknowledged or returned. DEWALT is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected or illegible Entry Forms or unsuccessful attempts to notify the winners. Limit of one (1) prize per household or family. Limit of one (1) entry per participant per day.
   
6. Conditions
   All Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Income and other taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the winners. Title and registration fees are the responsibility of the winners. DEWALT is not responsible for any expenses incurred by participants in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes. By submitting an Entry Form, each participant agrees to be bound by these Sweepstakes rules, and the decisions of DEWALT are final. Each participant agrees to release and hold DEWALT, Home Depot, Bombardier, their employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives and their subsidiaries, parent companies or other affiliated companies harmless from any and all damages, losses, claims and/or liabilities arising out of his participation in the Sweepstakes or resulting from accepting or claiming of any prize awarded hereunder. The Sweepstakes may be terminated at DEWALT’s sole discretion.
   
7. Winner
   To obtain the names of the prize winners send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to DEWALT Power Play Sweepstakes Winners List, 701 E. Joppa Road, Towson, Maryland 21286, mail stop #TW431.
