Place unit 3 to 6 feet off the floor. It is recommended to use a mounting
bracket (optional accessory DS001 sold separately)
Avoid placing unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources
Place unit in area with minimal vibration
Plug the power supply cord connector into unit
Plug the other end of power supply cord
into wall outlet
If a cellular connection cannot be made, plug a
telephone cord into the unit (the use of a surge
protector is recommended.
Plug in one end of phone line into unto unit
Plug in other end of phone line into wall
Step 2: System Set-up
2a: Programming Base Unit
(A)
After base unit is connected, use the keypad and LCD screen to begin the
initial setup sequence.
(B)
Check that the power LED is lit.
STEPS OF THE SETUP PROCESS

Choose a language.
(2)
Set time and date.
(3)
Set master code
(4)
Assign devices (Step 2b).
(5)
Install devices and test range (step 2c).
(6)
Add users.
(7)
Activate service (Step 3).

Open the housing by inserting a flat screwdriver into slot.
(2)
Insert battery.
(3)
Press the Reset Button when prompted by the Base Unit.
OTHER DEVICES
After programming the Key Chain Remote, continue programming other devices.
Refer to individual sensor instructions for inserting battery and resetting
sensor.
2c: Install Devices & Test Range
Before testing sensors, place them in the desired location. When asked to
perform a walk test, select YES and then walk the site tripping each sensor
until none remain on the list.
Reference the instructions manual for each sensor for specific mounting
instructions and recommended locations.
Step 3: Activate Service

Complete sensor location list

Billing information/contact information
NOTE: The MIN and the account number will be
provided during step 2, programming base unit (#7)

Select service agreement plan.

Perform a system test.
(4)
Receive written confirmation from customer service on the user
information and contract plan, sign contract and send back to customer service
(5)
If you do not receive written confirmation after the activation
process, contact customer service.
Step 4: Arming & Disarming
A.
ARMING THE SYSTEM
1.
Press the arm button on Key Chain Remote or press the Arm Key
on the Base Unit and enter code.
2.
Leave premises.
B.
DISARMING THE SYSTEM
1.
Press disarm button on the key chain remote or user the keypad to enter code on
the base unit.
