Manufacturing Management
Development Program
The Manufacturing Management Development
Program is a two year rotational development program designed to develop our
Future Manufacturing Leaders. The purpose is to create individuals well rounded
in all aspects of our business.
The program consists of four rotating job assignments of six months each and
extensive training courses. The first year is spent at DEWALT
Corporate Headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland with assignments in two of the
following areas:
- Development Engineering
- Manufacturing Support
- Manufacturing Strategy
- Motors AME
- Purchasing
- Quality
- Logistics
Second year assignments will be spent in
at least one of the following locations:
- Easton, MD
- Mexicalli, Mexico
- Shelbyville, Kentucky
- Beloit, WI
- Tampa, FL
- Hampstead, MD
- Fort Mill, SC
- Nashville, TN
Second
year assignments will be in at least two of the following areas:
- Process Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Materials
- Group Leader/Production Supervisor
- Industrial Engineering
- Quality Improvement Engineering
- New Products/Manufacturing Engineering
Also, as an MMDP associate, you will
be given one of the most comprehensive training programs available in industry
today. Specific courses will be conducted in conjunction with local universities
on general business and finance, marketing, manufacturing, and human resources.
Negotiation Skills, Executive Presentation Skills, Reliability Training and
ISO Audit Training are just a few of the training courses an MMDP will take
at Corporate Headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
Following successful completion of the program the candidate will be eligible
for consideration for any open positions in the North American Power Tools locations.
