Invention Submission

DEWALT® welcomes your interest in our company and your new product ideas and inventions.

Unfortunately, we are not accepting ideas an inventions related to garment care or food preparation appliances at this time.

We can only consider your ideas and inventions if you accept and return a signed copy of our "Policy and Conditions for Submitted Ideas" contract. You can obtain this contract writing Barbara Davis at the address below, or by downloading it here:

If you are a US or Canadian resident, there are three ways you may submit your ideas. Either write, fax or email: (Non US or Canadian residents see note at end of this page**)

Your submission must include a signed and unmodified "Policy and Conditions for Submitted Ideas" contract with your documents (written description, drawings or videos). No prototypes, please! Our approximate evaluation time for your idea is 6-8 weeks.

All submitted ideas and inventions that do not include a signed Policy and Conditions contract will not be evaluated.

**If you are not a US or Canadian resident the "Policy and Conditions" contract appearing above does not apply. Please refer to the External Submission Procedure document below for recommendations on submitting your idea to Black and Decker.
