Can I use a regular circular saw blade on my DEWALT DCS361 Miter Saw?
For the DCS361 Cordless Miter Saw, we recommend using a blade with a 7° hook angle or less. This angle leads to a safer, and cleaner cut of your material.
Most regular circular saw blades use a very agressive hook, around 18° or more. While this is fine for a circ saw, that agressive hook angle on a miter saw could lead to chipping and tear out on the face of the wood.
Dewalt has a line of special blades for the DCS361 you can order from your local DEWALT Dealer as follows:
DW7112PT = 7 1/4 - 24T
DW7114PT = 7 1/4 - 40T
DW7116PT = 7 1/4 - 60T
