The maxtrim trimmable flap discs can blend or grind. The DEWALT® ELITE SERIES™ trimmable flap discs range has ceramic grains and is excellent for aggressive grinding.

Engineered to Last - High quality ceramic grain allows DEWALT® ELITE SERIES™ flap disc to last up to 75% longer than 3M flap disc (based on dwa8280ctr (4.5 ") versus 3M 51645 (4.5 ") grinding 1/4 " 45# steel. 3M is a registered trademark of 3M company, which has not endorsed or approved this comparison)
Trimmable Backer - By trimming away the edge of the backing plate, the user gains access to an otherwise unutilized portion of the flap, allowing for long wheel life
