Can DEWALT chargers be used on an inverter or generator?
Yes, DEWALT chargers have been designed to work off an inverter or generator. A pure sine wave inverter with a minimum of 400W is recommended.
What is the charge time on the DEWALT DCB118 charger?
The DCB118 will charge a DCB606 FLEXVOLT™ battery pack in one hour. It will charge the DCB205 20V MAX* 5.0Ah battery in 50 minutes and the DCB204 4.0Ah battery in 40 minutes. The compact 20V batteries such as the DCB201 and DCB203 will charge at the same time as in the DCB115 charger (4amp current). The charger is smart enough to know which battery to charge at a specific current (8amp or 4amp).
