    Can the DW130V Heavy-Duty 1/2" Spade Handle Drill be used on a generator?

    Since the DW130V is a variable speed unit it cannot be used on a generator unless the generator produces AC current. All of the DEWALT generators produce AC current so you can use this unit if you have a DEWALT Generator.

    Can the variable speed switch from the DW130V Heavy Duty 1/2" Spade Handle Drill be put into the DW130 drill?

    The DW130V switch will not fit older DW130 models. The housing is different and size of the VSR switch is larger then the original switch.
